Las Tablas is a neighborhood in the metropolitan area of Madrid, inhabited by people who commutes to the city everyday. The area is full of housing blocks, but there is a lack of common and leisure infrastructures that enable social interaction and the activation of public spaces. In this sense, the proposal wants to present the library as a space of encounter that can host many activities, from the usual reading or studying spaces to workshops, playgrounds or public speeches, or just as a nice public space to stay.
